Light the Dream: CDN FUNDRAISING CLUB PARTY!

*ALL THE MONEY FUNDRAISED WILL BE USED FOR THE "CA DREAM NETWORK AB540 SCHOLARSHIP"

 

Come join us at the 2nd Annual CDN's Fundraising Club Party, on a night to celebrate all the hard work invested to pass both bills that make up the CA Dream Act, AB131 and AB130 (signature still pending).

 

The CA Dream Network mobilized thousands of DREAMers from San Diego to Sacramento in the statewide "Lighting the CA Dream Act Torch" Campaign. Successfully, on July 25th, 2011, Gov. Jerry Brown signed the first half of the CA Dream Act, AB130 which gives AB540 students access to institutional aid (ex. university/college scholarships). On the other hand, AB-31 is currently on the governor's desk! Exciting, right?!

 

HOWEVER ... 

 

That's still A LOT of work to do, so...

 

On September 29th, 2011, we will take a break to CELEBRATE together all effort made, at Leonardo's Night Club with great music and dancing!
